About
she / her
Zoe Gerazi (she/her) is a Greek actress based in Athens, Greece, of Albanian heritage, with Vlach roots through her grandfather. She spent three years living and studying in London, where she trained in acting and developed a strong foundation in both screen and stage performance.
Zoe made her television debut with Cartes Postales (ERT) before joining the cast of I Gi Gi tis Elias (MEGA), where she worked across three seasons as Eirini Kapernarou, progressing from a main role to a co-lead role. She is now expanding her work into theatre with the upcoming production of Petai Petai, a 1960s comedy in which she plays Choulia, a Turkish air hostess.
At the heart of Zoe’s approach to acting is her search for truth, realism and authenticity. She strives to bring to the surface every small, hidden detail buried deep within a character’s soul. A phrase she particularly identifies with is “I am a lie that tells the truth,” from Jean Cocteau’s The Liar.
Alongside acting, she writes film scripts in English and has a particular love for musical theatre, rock music and drama. She is fluent in English and Albanian, has basic knowledge of Italian, and has strong American and British RP accents.
