Periklis is a composer and sound designer born in Athens, Greece. His work spans film, animation, documentary, opera, and concert music, with international credits across Europe and North America.

He has composed music and created sound design for four feature films with productions in Russia, the United Kingdom, and Canada; five animated films, including Pear Garden, which was BAFTA pre-selected in 2025 and nominated for a 2025 Annie Award in Hollywood; and three documentaries. His most recent documentary, Lost Gardenias (dir. Galateia Lagoutari), earned him the award for Best Sound Design at the International Drama Festival of Greece (National Student Awards). In addition, he has worked on over fifteen short films produced in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, and Greece.

Beyond screen work, Periklis has composed approximately one hundred concert works for orchestra, ensembles, and soloists, as well as eight operas. His opera Chodorkowski received the award for Best New Opera (Schickaneder Preis), presented at the Volksoper Vienna in 2017.

Periklis has been teaching composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2002.
