The oeuvre of the award-winning composer and sound designer currently comprises over 90 compositions for orchestra, chamber music, 8 operas, as well as film scores, music for documentaries, theatre, animation, and more. After studying composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and graduating with unanimous distinction, he received the academic title of “Magister Artium” and has been producing music tirelessly ever since. Awards from the City of Vienna, the Austrian Federal Chancellery, the Greek Society of Friends of Music, the Schikaneder Prize in Vienna for his opera “Chodorkovsky in 2017, as well as the first prize for sound design in the international Drama short film festival, the preselection of the animation film Pear garden, for which he composed the music, in the BAFTA awards and the nomination of the same film for the ANNIE award in Hollywood in 2025, have accompanied his career to date.

His close relationship with Vienna’s best studios and a well-established team of performers who bring his music to life guarantee the highest quality. Some of the best analog synthesizers, as well as live instruments, complete the sonic arsenal in his 2 studios in Athens and Vienna.

From drama to comedy, from sci-fi to horror, from ethnic to jazz, and from classical to rock or even hip hop and metal, Periklis is sonically at home. Parallel to his composing activities he is teaching composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2002.
