Andrea Ascolese is an Italian actor.
In 1998, he made his stage debut in Roberto Roversi’s “Enzo Re”, starring Lucio Dalla and Paolo Bonacelli.
In 2000, he made his film debut in Lucio Pellegrini’s “Tandem.”
This was followed in 2002 by a co-starring role in “Febbre da cavallo – La mandrakata,” starring Gigi Proietti, and in 2006 in “Antonio Guerriero di Dio,” starring Arnoldo Foà.
In 2017, he starred as Baldassarre Castiglione in Luca Viotto’s “Raffaello – Il Principe delle Arti,” which was released in 65 countries.
In 2019, he co-starred in “Tutto liscio,” directed by Igor Maltagliati, alongside Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Ivano Marescotti, and Raoul Casadei.
In 2021, he appeared in Season 8 of the Rai drama “L’Ispettore Coliandro,” directed by the Manetti Bros.
On March 14, 2024, the international film “Race for Glory: Audi vs. Lancia,” directed by Stefano Mordini and starring Riccardo Scamarcio and Daniel Brühl, was released in cinemas in Italy. Andrea played the role of Lancia’s Marketing Director.
In 2025, he appeared in the Rai 1 TV series “La ricetta della felicità,” directed by Giacomo Campiotti, playing the role of Ettore.
