Yanna Darilis is a dynamic multi tasked media professional, with a wealth of experience in
broadcasting as an on-camera talent, producer, director, and writer. Yanna recently joined the 77 WABC & Red Apple Media team in New York as a Talent, Executive Producer, Director, Producer, and Director of Brand Creative. Yanna is also major shareholder, and President of New Greek Television (NGTV), a 40-year, legacy ethnic channel, available on Time Warner-Spectrum-Charter, RCN, and Bell Fiber in Canada. She has over a decade of experience as the head of production and director of communications for Success Plan Media.
A true trailblazer, Yanna made history as the first female producer to develop and host Greece’s
inaugural English-language magazine show on Hellenic Broadcast’s ERT World, with her show
Hellenic Weekly, also aired on PBS national, and co-producer, writer and host for the travel show “Mediterranean Blue” on PBS, and OTE/Cosmote History Channel.


Early on in her career, she gained recognition as a lifestyle and fitness celebrity, hosting segments and working with NBC Universal, E! Entertainment, and Greece’s most popular morning shows on Antenna, and Star Channel, as a news anchor and on-camera talent, with a focus on lifestyle, fitness, fashion and travel, Yanna is the writer, director, and talent of over 90 travel features, news broadcasts, cooking and magazine shows. She has also written and been the voice talent for various documentaries.Her career has been enriched by roles at prestigious organizations, including addressing and presenting various panels at the United Nations, SRC, and the International Olympic Committee – IOC, serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Voice talent and Director in the control room for test events.
Her Public Relations skills have served as a bridge for Greece & the United States and is recognized as an ambassador of cultural diplomacy of Greece, by the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy. She is the Director of Communications, and ambassador of the International
Hippocratic Foundation of Kos, where she lectures on Hippocratic principles to graduates of
medical school.


Dr. Darilis combines her extensive media experience with a robust academic background in Film & Television, specializing in creative and executive producing, and having served as the assistant director of Film & Media studies at New York College, for Empire State of New York Athens campus. She also holds multiple degrees in Film & Media, Education and Health Sciences, including a Doctorate in Integrative Medicine. She frequently shares her insight through television programming, published articles, lectures and public speaking engagements.
