Klitos Klitou is a distinguished Cypriot director with extensive experience in television and theatre. A graduate of the Lycurgus Stavrakos Film School in Athens, he has further honed his craft through seminars on screenwriting, script doctoring, and multi-camera directing.
From 2000 to 2018, Klitou worked at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (RIK) before joining Alpha Cyprus as part of its Local Productions Department. Since 2024, he has also served on the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC).
His television directing credits include acclaimed series such as Η ΦΑΜΙΛΙΑ (The Familia)—nominated at the International Format Awards in Cannes—Οι Γενιές της Σιωπής (Generations of Silence), and Πέτρινο Ποτάμι (Stone River). In 2008, he directed the multi-camera broadcast of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Limassol, reaching an audience of 50 million viewers.
An award-winning artist, Klitou was named Artist of the Year by MAN magazine at the Johnnie Walker Man of the Year Awards in 2013 and 2015. His theatre work includes productions such as Όλα Για Τη Μητέρα Μου (All About My Mother) and Χαβάη (Hawaii), staged in renowned Cypriot theatres.
