George Spaneas

George Spaneas is an emerging actor with a diverse range of talents spanning film, theater, music, and modeling. Trained in piano, music theory, and voice, he has been actively involved in theatrical productions and musical performances from a young age.

George starred in the short film House of Baldwin, directed by Panos Milios and Andreani Constanti, in June 2023. He later starred in the short film “The Monster: Los Demonios de la Locura”. Additionally he was a Supporting Artist in the Spanish short “El Peso de la Arena” directed by Mauricio Sandoval Ron, currently in post production.

Regarding his work in theatre, George was in the devised performance titled “Rat Park” directed by Irene Andreou and Giannis Karaoulis under the National Theatre Organisation of Cyprus.

Expanding his artistic reach, he has also ventured into modelling, featuring in a commercial for Arizona Tea, leading the University of Central Lancashire’s campaign The 101, and modelling for the Cyprus-based clothing brand Medusa.

In April 2024, his short film Within received the Best Artistic Vision distinction at the first National Student Short Film Competition during the Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival. Continuing his pursuit of excellence in acting, George will further his studies at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona starting in September 2024.
