Effie Demetriou is a dedicated actress with training in both stage and screen performance. Inspired to pursue acting from an early age, she began her training at “Nandia Tomasidou Youth Theatre”, where she spent seven years developing her skills in stage acting, improvisation, and breathing techniques. At the age of 14, she continued her training at “The Film and Stage Studio”, where she was introduced to method acting, gained experience both in front of and behind the camera, and cultivated a passion for screenwriting.

A year later, Effie signed with “Ray Talent Agency” and quickly began booking roles across student and professional productions. Her credits include lead performances in “Dream Race” (2024), directed by Mariella Constantinou, and “Eraser” (2026), a professional short film written by Effie and directed by Andreani Constanti. She also appeared in the international feature film “Ma Fille Tu Seras Libre” (2026), directed by Bachir Bensaddek.

Alongside her screen and stage work, Effie began private musical theatre training at “Future Academy of Arts” at the age of 16, where she has performed in concerts and continues to expand her skills as a performer.

Fluent in English and Greek, Effie is passionate about storytelling both in front of and behind the camera. She aspires to collaborate on international productions while continuing to develop her work as both an actress and a screenwriter.
