Prokopis Agathokleous is a distinguished graduate of the Higher Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and has built an illustrious career since 2008 as an actor in theater, cinema, and television. He has collaborated with prestigious institutions like the National Theatre of Greece and the Cyprus Theatre Organization (THOC) and worked with renowned directors, including Konstantinos Rigos, Dimitris Papaioannou, Yannis Kakleas, Michail Marmarinos, and Nikos Karathanos. In 2015, he embarked on a global tour with Dimitris Papaioannou’s critically acclaimed “Still Life,” mesmerizing audiences across Europe, America, Asia, and Australia. In 2017, he joined Attis Theatre and Theodoros Terzopoulos for Euripides’ “Trojan Women,” a highlight of the Pafos 2017 European Capital of Culture program, later performed at the ancient theater of Delphi in 2018. In 2019, his portrayal of Richard III at THOC, directed by Paris Erotokritou, earned him the New Creator of the Year award.

From 2020 to 2021, he starred as Saint Paisios in a compelling series on Mega, which will return in winter 2024-25 for its second season. Between 2020 and 2024, he appeared in numerous films and TV series in Cyprus and Greece. In 2022, he dazzled audiences as Charlie Chaplin in “City Lights” at the National Theatre, directed by Amalia Bennett with music by Thodoris Oikonomou, receiving rave reviews and award nominations. In 2024, he stars as Eteocles in THOC’s “Phoenician Women,” directed by Magdalena Zira, touring Cyprus to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of 1974.
