Kestrel Farin Leah is a British-American stage and screen performer and theater artist, creating experimental music theater as the duo Physical Plastic (with sound artist Yiannis Christofides). Training with theater legends across the globe and traversing dramatic and avant-garde theater with well-honed physical and vocal skill, Leah moves fluidly between epic, period and genre-bending projects.

Leah has been seen on television, in independent film, and at leading international venues and festivals such as the Lincoln Center, Palais du Tokyo, Centre Pompidou, and Nicosia International Festival, to name a few. Recent highlights include an acclaimed sci-fi short by up-and-coming director Emily Limyun Dean (best actress award, Yosemite International Film Festival), notable grants and awards for her original sound-theatre work, and collaboration on a Marcel Duchamp prize-winning artwork.

She teaches embodied vocal technique and is a published writer on performance, most recently featured in the book Being Work by Insert Blanc Press. Her first language is English and she has performed French and Greek.
