Joseph Culp is an actor, writer, director and filmmaker, and has been working in theatre, film and television for over 35 years.  Audiences know Joseph as “Archie Whitman”, the father of Don Draper in the hit series Mad Men. He is the first actor to play Marvel super-villain “Doctor Doom” in The Fantastic Four. His numerous film credits include leading roles in Alan J. Pakula’s Dream Lover, The Arrival, Monte Hellman’s Iguana, and Maria Novaro’s El Jardin del Eden. He was featured in Ron Howard’s Apollo 13 and Mario Van Peebles’ Panther, Badassss, and Outlaw: Posse. He recently starred as the title role in the award-winning feature The Veteran. Television credits include appearances ER, Deep Space Nine, The New Girl, House, Agents of SHIELD, and Monsters onNetflix.

Joseph won critical acclaim in the award-wining film “Hunger”, an adaptation of Nobel winner Knut Hamsun’s classic 1890 existentialist novel, which he also produced. Joseph produced and co-starred in the award-winning feature “The Reflecting Pool”, the first investigative drama about the 9/11 attacks. Joseph wrote, directed and co-starred in the feature film “Welcome to the Men’s Group”, a film inspired by the men’s movement, now on Amazon Prime
