HELEN MAGELAKI is an award-winning ,nominated creative hair and make-up designer for film and television.
Helen has not only established her career in Australia, but has had the opportunity to work in Europe, New Zealand and Asia, holding both European and Australian Passport.

Having been in the makeup team winning a AACTA Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling for the series Seven Network/Roadshow Rough Diamond series AUSTRALIAN GANGSTER and Australian Production Design Guild Award for Make-Up and Hair Design for a Television Production for the reboot of ROMPER STOMPER for Stan. Helen’s work has also seen her nominated for numerous awards for her creativity and professional hair and makeup work. Helen’s most recent work has been designing the up and coming action movie starring Gerard Butler and Harley Atwell’s EMPIRE CITY and is currently filming SKELETONS a horror/thriller starring Brie Larson, John Goodman and Kyle Gallner.

With over 30 film credits and countless television projects, Helen’s career has seen her work in the hair and makeup departments on iconic films such as THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER, BETTERMAN, THE DRESSMAKER to name a few, as well as television series APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, LA BREA, SHANTARAM, THE GLOAMING, CLICKBAIT, ROMPER STOMPER, AUSTRALIAN GANGSTER, WOLF CREEK, BAD MOTHERS and PLEASE LIKE ME.
