Line Producer, Physical Producer

Elena has studied psychology at the Kapodistrian University of Athens and cinema at the NYFA, New York Film Academy, in New York. In the recent years, she has been working as a Line Producer and development manager of the International Co- productions and Services department at Foss Productions. Through these trips Elena has developed a big network of producers, directors and financiers all over the world and in the last 5 years she has managed more than 80 projects that explored Greece as a possible production location. Elena has worked on various international productions such as David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future, from Canada, the TV series Durrells for ITV England, Daphne Schmon’s The Eye, England, My Life in Ruins  and Mama Mia from America.

Previously, she worked as a first assistant director on various Projects in Greece and Cyprus. Among other productions, she was a first assistant in Kostas Koutsomytis’s Farewell Anatolia, in the film One Bee in August and in the romantic action films, Bachelor. At the same time, she has taught for many years directing, screenwriting and editing at IEK Omiros in the Department of Music Technology. She has produced and directed three short films of her own, One Life to Live, Uma Mujer and Perfume and a documentary about Flamenco in Greece.
