Effie Spence

Effie Spence is an experimental filmmaker, actress, and poet, known for her biophilia-infused work through a feminine lens, drawing on her Grecian roots. Her art, influenced by personal loss and existential questioning, highlights life’s absurdity and beauty.
Starting her acting career at age four in NH, Effie pursued English, Film, and Dance at the University of Vermont. She launched her professional career in Melbourne, Australia, engaging in film, theatre, and Bollywood dance, before moving to Los Angeles.
Effie founded Pixie Logic Productions, focusing on female-led storytelling. Her unique filmmaking methodology, inspired by Yorgos Lanthimos, Maya Deren, and Sofia Coppola, utilizes dreams and non-linear narratives to create visually captivating works.
