Martin Högdahl

Martin Högdahl is an award-winning film director and screenwriter, educated at the Dramatic Institute in Stockholm and University Valand Film Academy in Gothenburg, possesses extensive experience working with children and youth. He has directed numerous short films and horror-suspense music videos for US-based Metal Blade Records, along with two episodes for the Swedish television drama series “Orka! Orka!”

In 2012, Martin made his directorial feature debut with “The Ice Dragon (Isdraken),” which premiered internationally in Competition at the Berlinale film festival in the Generation section. The film garnered theatrical distribution in over ten countries, participated in 30 international film festivals, winning several awards.
