Dan Pánek, a force in filmmaking, made his mark with the 2016 independent film “Taxi 121.” Transitioning to series, he directed the 2019 hit internet show, “Behind the Curtain” featuring Czech star Hynek Čermák.

In response to the pandemic’s challenges, Pánek co-founded Visual Riders s.r.o., a film production company driving his future projects. Beyond narrative storytelling, he showcased his directorial prowess in the KVIFF spot for Progresus Invest Holding Company.

Premiering in February 2023, Pánek’s second feature film, “Children of Nagano,” a family sports comedy, resonated globally, winning top honors at Tokyo, Brussels, and Olympia festivals.

Not bound by traditional film education, Pánek hones his craft through an unconventional mix of film immersion and hands-on experience. Focused on family-oriented films, he also delves into screenwriting and book writing, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and versatile storyteller.
