"Maria who became Callas" the new mini series for EPT1 directed and written by Olga Malea. The series shows transformation of the young Maria Callas to the greatest diva of all time, during the period of the Junta, in Athens. We follow Maria through her relationship with the key figures of her young life: her mother, her Spanish teacher, her baritone lover, her pianist sister and the German conductor. However each of them have different plans for Maria.
