Yiannis Kokkinos is an accomplished actor with over 20 years of continuous work across stage and screen. He holds an MA in Acting with Distinction from the University of East London (UEL), a Certificate in Acting from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. 

His theatre credits include a wide range of leading roles in both national (THOC) and regional productions. Notable performances, among others, include The only thing you need to know about Derrida, George Dandin or the Abashed Husband, Three Sisters, The Dinner Game, La Nonna, Penelope, Plutus (Wealth), Prometheus Bound, Our Town, Damned Poets, The Glass Menagerie, Loot. 

On screen, Yiannis has starred in feature films such as The Asylum Seekers, Rosemarie, Five Shillings Nylon, and Underground Mirror, and has appeared in acclaimed works like Smuggling Hendrix, Kimmeria, Au revoir, Slumdogz, Magic Beans, and Akamas. His short film work includes lead roles in #Antonis, Reunion, Sea, The Immortalizer, and Down Payment. Among his short films, he wrote, produced, and played the lead role in Boomerang, showcasing his multifaceted talent both in front of and behind the camera. 

Yiannis is also a familiar face on television, with key roles in numerous series including Thyme and Saltness, Salome, Paper Box, Karma, Galatia, Copper Age, Stone River, The Silk Lady, Lake, Shadows at Dawn, Roses of Rage, Homecoming, Kyriakos Matsis. 

Beyond acting, Yiannis is a dedicated screenwriter. He has co-written several television series including Lake, Salome, Copper Age, and Galatia.
