Screenwriter
About
he / him
The creator of Innate Acting, William has spent decades developing an acting system that is specifically designed for the modern actor.
A two-sport athlete at a liberal arts college in upstate New York, William graduated with a BA in Economics. His early love and commitment to athletics had a profound influence on his desire to change the way the craft of acting was articulated and trained. As an acting coach, he created a unique way for his actors to make reliable progress towards the same type of ownership that top athletes and performing artists possess.
William was further inspired to tailor the learning experience for his actors by writing original material that served the particular acting skill-set he wanted to train. This was the spark that inspired his writing career.
Over the years, William has created a large and diverse library of written content. He was commissioned to be the head writer of a Los Angeles-based production company and was also hired by multiple writers to help with character development and story development in their projects. He is the founder of the Los Angeles-based Innate Acting Studio and the cofounder of Willow Brook Studios.
He has written and produced many short projects including: Uncle Teddy, Mind-Ops and Christmas at County, etc. He has recently been a co-producer and on-set acting coach for The Unicorn that Never Lies, which received multiple festival wins and accolades, and was the on-set acting coach for the female lead actor in Winter: Battleground.
William writes with his life-partner Jennifer Cozza James. As a writing team, William and Jennifer are currently developing four feature film projects and will soon be collaborating with Smooth Blend Films on The Mark of the Forest (in development). William and Jennifer are committed to coaching and creating on an international level, and providing opportunities for artists all over the world to come together in collaboration.
