Leah is a writer, director and producer. She started out in Television at the Walt Disney Company in London before joining MBC Group (Middle East Broadcasting Centre) in Dubai as a Post-Production Executive and then an On-Air Promotions Producer. She has since worked on several foreign film productions in Cyprus and was an editor on the documentary Buried in Burma which won the award for Best Director at the London International Film Festival. She has written and directed two short films which screened at festivals and have over a million views on social media.

She is in development with Laskarina, a historical drama series she co-created and co-wrote with Athena Xenidou, which was one of the five pilots chosen for The Owl, the prestigious screenwriting workshop of the Athens Film Office in 2023.

She has a BA Specialization in Communications Studies (specializing in film) with Distinction, from Concordia University, Canada, and an MA in Filmmaking specializing in Directing, from Goldsmiths University London. She is part of the Director’s Guild of Cyprus, teaches Intro to Filmmaking workshops, and creates short-form awareness films on subjects she is passionate about.
