Laura Louisa Garde is a German actress and screenwriter. Her native language is German, and she is bilingual in French and English, with basic knowledge of Dutch.

Laura was born in Berlin and raised in northern Germany. In 2024, she emigrated to France with her French husband. The decision was easy for her, as wanderlust runs in her genes: Laura has family in Germany, Austria, France, the USA, and Japan.

Laura’s great passion is storytelling. She wrote stories as a child. Immediately after graduating from high school, she was accepted to the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar acting school in Vienna, Austria, where she graduated with honors.

After graduation, she initially focused on theater acting. Soon after, she landed her first film roles, such as a leading role in the Austrian feature film “Local Heroes”. Since then, Laura has mainly worked in film and television. She has a recurring role in the German TV series “Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr”, and has appeared in popular German TV shows like “Tatort” and the feature film “Die Mittagsfrau”, which was nominated for the Bavarian Film Award in 2024.

At the age of 14, Laura wrote her first short film. Currently, she is working on a series. In 2023, she signed a contract with the German production company Network Movie for the project, and they are currently looking for a broadcaster for the show.
